Documentary reveals the truth about flame retardants

Monday night the documentary Toxic Hot Seat premier’s on HBO at 9:00 EST — You’ll want to watch it.

The film covers the story of toxic flame retardants (you know, those sneaky chemicals that are ending up in couches and children’s furniture?) and what we can do to pass meaningful laws on toxic chemicals.

The film features many of our coalition partners including our Stroller Brigade!

This Thursday our Director Andy Igrejas spoke at the DC premiere, along with the filmmakers and guests like Senator Markey and others. Take a moment to watch what Andy has to say about where we are on the road to federal laws on toxic chemicals.

Flame retardants provide a great example of why the broader system is broken and why we need strong, comprehensive reform of our toxic chemical laws.

Details on Toxic Hot Seat premiere:

Monday November 25th –  9:00 PM EST

HBO (You can also watch this on HBO Go)
