Lead: America’s unfinished business

All of the attention to the Flint tragedy should result first and foremost in justice and concrete aid for Flint, but it should also serve as a wake-up call that America has unfinished business with lead.

Study finds levels of toxic flame retardants 5 times higher in toddlers

These results are particularly troubling since children, ages one to five, are in important stages of development and likely more sensitive to environmental chemicals, particularly those that affect their metabolism and hormones.
