I’ll be honest, if I’m talking to a store manager, it’s likely because I’m really upset about something minor that just happened. Being mischarged for something, a disgruntled employee or something else that is small in the overall grand scheme of things.

But as we launched our new Mind the Store campaign, asking retailers to get tough on toxic chemicals, I’ve been presented with the opportunity to talk to store managers about something big. Something that really matters, and it feels good.

I gave birth to two fabulous, healthy little girls in the last 8 years and found out the hard way that common everyday household products contain harsh, synthetic ingredients that in many cases, are not tested for safety. So for my family's sake I have decided that I MUST be a catalyst for change.
