Sharing news of a huge loss: Cecil Corbin-Mark has passed away

Cecil at the National Stroller Brigade for Safer Chemicals in Washington, DC in 2012

With great love and admiration, we share the sad news of the sudden loss of a treasured friend and ally in the fight to protect communities from toxic chemicals. As an early member of our chemical policy reform steering committee, Cecil Corbin-Mark brought passion, expertise, and humor to even the toughest discussions. The environmental health and environmental justice movements have lost a true hero.

Cecil was the Deputy Director and Director of Policy Initiatives at WE ACT for Environmental Justice. To read WE ACT’s update on his passing, click here. To donate to WE ACT in Cecil’s honor, click here.
