Safer Chemicals receives Nightingale Policy Advancement Award

Thanks to our friends at the North American of Hazardous Materials Management Association (NAHMMA) for picking Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families to receive your 2013 Nightingale Policy
Advancement Award!

I had the opportunity to deliver the opening keynote to NAHMMA this week, and I was impressed and humbled by the questions and feedback I received.

NAHMMA consists of people that are on the front lines of pollution prevention. They run the hazardous waste facility you bring your old paint cans, CFL light bulbs and batteries. They are working diligently in their state agency to do what they can to reduce and properly deal with hazardous waste that is all too common in our homes and places of work.

Thank you from the Safer Chemicals staff for this award. Our whole coalition appreciates all you do to protect the public and environment from toxic chemicals!
